hmmm browsing through the download section today... and find a psd section o: what kind of 'something' we should put there? o: something like a step-by-step 'walkthrough' or something like extracted scan? o:
not sure if i have to make a new thread tho, but i think we can discuss about the download section here... maybe? xD
should we add something more on the download section or no? if yes, do you have any idea what kind of stuffs should we put there? :3
*bwaaahh i'm so damn sleepy = 3= and cant think*
and testing the rich text editor is fun xD

yay psd section! uhh.. maybe u can put.. ur wallys! so we can be stalkerish is steal ur skeeeeelz! weeeeeeee! loL! jkjk ya ya! extracted scans are good :3 walk through? like tutorial and stuff? (we should make stalker tutorial somewhere in this site)

o___o someone can steal our walls xP hmm no, walkthrough is something like... our wallpaper's photoshop file.. someone can see what kind of techniques we used on this or that wall, something like that = 3=
if its the extracted scans, i think png is better xP because psd usually a super big file x____x

for that isn't needed a PSD file. only a file with multiple screenshots of our work in progress. im doing it with 2 of my latest walls and then i'll make a gif file -

stalker badges. extracted scans, etc etc
gladly i work with illustrator. the files from them are almost 75% + smaller than a PSD file
like my latest wall, in .psd it measures 100+ MB, in .ai is 1.5 MB X3
but, how we put the things there?

uploading the PSDs themselves will probably be a bad idea cause if someone rips our walls they will have the PSD to support their 'claim'.
I like the GIF thing though, smaller size and it's hard to clean the watermark off a GIF.

like the WIP dump idea... we could probably set up thumbnails to link to them from our AP descriptions or something. Or will they be strictly for stalkers only?

The PSD download sections is for anything related to PSD. It could be shape, template, icons, public projects.
I'm thinking about having a collection of anime related resources. i.e : stock pattern, brush, actions, scripts & template for our download graphics sections.Regarding bout sources being RIP.
Most stock images is tagged "watermark", all newspaper articles image and stock image is normaly "tagged" with XMP or IPTC code before being upload to public domain or publish in any others medium. There is a special tool to read and write this particular tags.

p/s: fyi animepaper has a "invisible" watermark on most wallpaper and scans. -

watermarking is when you mark your work with one almost invisible mark that even some ripper steal it, you will always know that is yours by using some PS effect

XMP and IPTC is a like a "binary signature" u can tag your photos with comments and description mostly apply for demographics data, copyright and legal stuff. Most Well known stock photos services embed XMP/IPTC data their photo this is to protect the publisher and buyers. They can find ripper by just reading the XMP/ IPTC data.
And you can used php or any server side programming to read the data not just photoshop. I think AP has this too, not sure -
